dental! Again! but the last time was in 2007/8!
This time was even scarier!
The condition of the clinic was super chui.
The first dental clinic with no aircon. the posters around the wall were either torn or yellowish, faded in colours. and i was their second patients of the day with the first one being an old couple.
I wanted to ask the nurse the rate for teeth whitening or do they even provide this service? but i held back that moment. thinking maybe i should test their service first before committed myself into another service. so when my name is called....
everthing inside was totally different from what i imagined! although its still quite small. but the big dental chair is there. there is aircon! and even a small TV. and the dentist isnt what i imagined her to be. i actually tot that the dentist is a guy. Cause my previous dentist was a guy. and i thought the dentist is someone old, since this clinic was there when i was borned. but nope. the female dentist looks very young and professional. abit like jessica liu, with half of her face covered. hahah, maybe her build give me the jessica liu feel! Anyway, what i like about the process is that she will tell you what she will be doing and the level of pain i will be expecting. at least i feel more secure in this manner. My previous experience was not like this. the dentist didnt let me know anything. so i have to keep thinking when issit ending bla bla bla.
but throughout the process, i keep crunching my fists...im just afraid of the machine sound and the irritating thing in my mouth. and my gum hurts alittle. with abit of blood. but thats normal. cause i gt weak gum. but when i get out of the room, i totally forgot to ask about the whitening treatment :x
Anyway, i think i wont be going for the whitening treatment there. since their customer profile is those elderly, they might nt have the technology or experience in doing the treatment. But the way the dentist handle the patient is very meticulous. so for that, my next scaling and polishing will be there again! hopefully will be the same dentist. Cause my mum told me might nt be the same since these dentists are on contract basis. the clinic was not opened by them. Perhaps, thats explain the rundown look of the clinic and the professional dentist bah.
oh i dont even know the name of the dentist. hahahha.
